1. About MoneyRepublic
MoneyRepublic Ltd ("MoneyRepublic", "we", "us" or "our") operates https://moneyrepublic.co.uk/. We are a credit broker, not a lender. We work with a panel of finance providers and may introduce your business to one or more providers where we consider their products potentially relevant to your requirements.
MoneyRepublic Ltd is incorporated and registered in England and Wales under company number 12141408. Our registered office is Lumiere House, Elstree Way, Borehamwood, WD6 1JH. We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under Firm Reference Number 1044827 and are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZC001655.
Not all business finance products or agreements are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Where a product or agreement is regulated, the applicable statutory and regulatory protections will apply.
2. Our role as a credit broker
We do not provide the funds ourselves. Our role is to gather information about you and your business, understand the type of finance you are seeking, and introduce or submit your application to finance providers from our panel.
We do not guarantee that we will approach every lender in the market, that every lender on our panel will be considered, or that finance will be available. A lender may decline an application or offer different terms from those initially discussed or illustrated.
Unless we expressly tell you otherwise in writing, information we provide is intended to help you understand available options and does not constitute legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice. You should obtain independent advice where appropriate.
3. Finance applications and eligibility
All finance is subject to status, eligibility and lender approval. Terms and conditions apply. Guarantees, personal guarantees and/or security may be required depending on the finance product, lender and circumstances of the application.
Submitting an enquiry or application does not create an obligation on any lender to offer finance and does not oblige you to accept any offer.
Any quotation, repayment example, rate, term or other indication shown on the website or communicated before a lender issues its formal offer is illustrative unless expressly stated otherwise. The lender's formal documentation will govern the finance agreement.
4. Information you provide
You must provide information that is complete, accurate, current and not misleading. This may include information about your business, directors, partners, shareholders, beneficial owners, financial position, trading history, existing commitments and the purpose of the finance.
You must have authority to provide information about any other individual or business included in an application and, where required, ensure that they have been given appropriate privacy information.
If relevant information changes while an application is being considered, you should tell us promptly. Inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information may lead to an application being delayed, withdrawn or declined and may affect any finance subsequently offered.
5. Credit, identity and fraud checks
We and/or finance providers may carry out identity, eligibility, affordability, creditworthiness, anti-money laundering, sanctions, fraud prevention and other checks. These checks may use information from credit reference agencies, fraud prevention agencies, Companies House, public registers and other lawful sources.
A credit search may leave a footprint on a credit file. The type of search and whether it is visible to other organisations will depend on the provider and the stage of the application. Further details are set out in our Privacy Policy and in the privacy information supplied by the relevant finance provider.
6. Commission and remuneration
We may receive a commission or other remuneration from a lender for introducing business. The amount of commission may vary depending on the lender, product, amount financed and/or other commercial arrangements.
Where applicable, we will provide information about the nature of our remuneration and any disclosure required by law or regulation before you enter into a finance agreement. You may also ask us for further information about how we are paid.
7. Your decision and lender documentation
You are responsible for deciding whether a finance product is suitable for your business. Before accepting an offer, you should read the lender's documents carefully, including the interest rate, fees, repayment schedule, total amount payable, security requirements, personal guarantee provisions, events of default and any early repayment terms.
The finance agreement is between you and the lender. MoneyRepublic is not a party to that agreement merely because we introduced you to the lender.
8. Repayments, guarantees and security
You should only enter into a finance agreement if you reasonably expect your business to be able to meet the required repayments and other obligations. Missed or late payments may result in fees, enforcement action and adverse information being recorded with credit reference agencies where applicable.
If a personal guarantee or other security is required, the guarantor or security provider should read the relevant documents carefully and consider obtaining independent legal advice before signing.
9. Use of the website
You must not misuse the website. In particular, you must not knowingly introduce malware, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the website or its infrastructure, scrape or harvest information in a manner that disrupts the service, impersonate another person, or use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
We may suspend, restrict or withdraw access to all or part of the website where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal, regulatory or operational reasons.
10. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its content, branding, software, design and materials are owned by or licensed to MoneyRepublic and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the website for your own lawful business purposes, but you must not reproduce, commercially exploit or redistribute our content without permission except where the law allows.
11. Third-party websites and services
The website may link to third-party websites or services, including those operated by finance providers. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices. Your use of a lender's services will be subject to that lender's own terms and policies.
12. Website information and availability
We take reasonable care when preparing website content, but we do not guarantee that all information will always be complete, current or error-free. We may update, change, suspend or remove content or functionality without notice where appropriate.
We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from viruses or other harmful components. You are responsible for using appropriate security and virus-protection measures on your own devices.
13. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the paragraph above, we will not be responsible for losses that are not a foreseeable result of our breach, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings arising from your use of the website, except to the extent that such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
We are not responsible for a lender's decision whether to offer finance, the lender's underwriting criteria, or the lender's performance of a finance agreement.
14. Data protection and cookies
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Our Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on our website and how you can manage your preferences.
15. Complaints

We will handle complaints in accordance with the complaints procedure that applies to our business. Where a complaint is eligible for referral to the Financial Ombudsman Service, we will explain the relevant rights in our final response or other required communication.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, law, regulation, technology or business practices. The latest version will be published on our website and will show the date it was last updated.
17. Governing law
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply under law.
